Mutare School of Preaching (MSOP) was recently blessed by Brother Fortune Mbofana, a 2004 MSOP graduate, who demonstrated the spirit of ploughing back by equipping students and staff with practical self-support skills.
Brother Fortune prepared and personally funded a training and startup package of banana suckers, pineapple crowns, and live pineapples, weighing over 40kg. He also conducted an intensive training session on self-supporting ministry through banana and pineapple production, emphasizing sustainability for gospel preachers.
He donated the startup packs to MSOP, though he noted the challenge of limited startup capital in expanding such ventures. His actions reflect the biblical principle: “The one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully” (2 Corinthians 9:6).
At MSOP, we remain committed to exposing our students to diverse opportunities for self-sustenance as they prepare to serve in the Lord’s vineyard.
Preach The Word!
